I can't believe I actually did it. Seriously. The first thought that came into my mind when I saw the new SoC event was a bigass picture of that race. Why not? I've been trying to challenge myself to do bigger pictures, and this one is definately one of them. Thank you for all the amazing people who allowed me to
butcher use their characters and mounts for this, and I know I have said even more chars would be in there, but I just couldn't put more of them without messing up the already messy composition.
I can't even tell how proud I am of myself, despite all the mistakes and lazy colorings and self hatred this gave me. And I loved how the first thing my dad said when he saw this was:
"But this looks so messy!"And that was exactly the idea. That's the essence of the group for me. It's a lovely mess that somehow works together and pushes me to do better and to seek development. Thanks for giving me the inspiration to do this.
Perspective? No, I don't know her. Would love to be introduced to her. Maybe we could go out for dinner or something...

The points that make the darwing so good are soo many Ican't even list them: How jet and mal bend their wings, the perspective, the sunlight, the illusion of wind..... Everythibg is just beautiful!!
